• Understanding the regulations of private law order form England into foreign jurisdiction
• Effects of Brussels II on English Courts’ decision making process within Private Law proceedings and within Hague conventions proceedings

Speaker/s

• JEREMY ROSENBLATT, was called to the Bar in 1985, has dealt with numerous significant cases including: Re M (abduction: conflict of jurisdiction (family division) (200 2 FLR 372; Re H (abduction:Habitual residence consent) family division 2000; Re M (abduction: intolerable situation) family division 200 I FLR 930: Glaser V UK ECHR (2001) I FLR 153; B v UK ECHR (2000) I FLR; Re L (abduction:European Convention access) 1999 2 FLR 1089.

He has also written for International Child Abduction (Sweet and Maxwell), International Adoption (Sweet and Maxwell), International Conventions Affecting Children (Kluwer Law International), Children and immigration (Cavendish), and How to Do Your Own Divorce (Vermilion/Random century). Jeremy is a member of the IBA, FLBA, Bar Committee on the Rights of the Child/Chair, Bar Pro Bono Unit.
